Fatih Gençkal is an İstanbul-based performer who performs as an actor, dancer, producer, director and organizer among others. He received his BA in Political Science and International Relations from Marmara University, Istanbul and his MFA in Acting from CUNY Brooklyn College, New York. He is currently a thesis-level MFA candidate in Contemporary Dance at Mimar Sinan University. 

He began his career with Studio 4 Istanbul, a company of artists who make work for theater and film, which he co-founded. His works as performer and director has been seen in Istanbul Theater Festival, Julidans (Amsterdam) and TheaterFormen (Hannover) as well as venues such as PS 122 (New York), Wuk Flieger (Vienna) and Theater Freiburg. 

He is the founding artistic director of the performing arts festival A Corner in the World and co-curator of bomontiada Alt.
